UPDATE: Following this post yesterday, AF was contacted by the PR company for VGM, to clarify that the ‘courtesy-car’ programme does not apply for accident cases, or for ‘regular service maintenance’, even if said maintenance takes more than 24-hours. The programme only applies for breakdowns, in which a mechanical / electrical fault was the cause.

As part of their continuous efforts to boost customer satisfaction, Volkswagen Group Malaysia today launched its mobility guarantee programme to offer mobility support for its customers who have their vehicles serviced at their authorized service centres.

Mr Armin Keller, Managing Director of Volkswagen Malaysia said, “Volkswagen is the first OEM in Malaysia to embark on a fully sponsored mobility guarantee programme. We now have a complete mobility service to complement our comprehensive dealer network.”

Customers are now entitled to collect a courtesy vehicle like the Sharan, Passat and Jetta from Volkswagen authorized service centres when they send their vehicles for repair, should the repair duration exceed 24 hours. However do note that the courtesy cars are NOT available for regular service checks and vehicle accident repairs.

“Customer satisfaction is our utmost priority, and we will continue to invest in efforts which will help bring an enriched ownership and brand experience for our customers,” added Keller.
