UMW Toyota Motor has announced that the company has begun taking orders for the new Toyota Alphard, Vellfire and Sienta.
As we mentioned earlier, the Alphard is powered by a 3.5-litre V6 engine while the Vellfire has a 2.5-litre 4-cylinder engine, both equipped with Toyota’s Dual VVT-i system. Active and passive safety systems that are provided as standard fitment include 7 SRS airbags, ABS with EBD and Brake Assist (BA) as well as Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) and Traction Control.
Prices start from RM419,900 for the Toyota Alphard 3.5, while the Toyota Vellfire’s price starts at RM355,000.
On the other hand, the smaller Toyota Sienta is powered by a 1.5-litre Dual-VVTi, similar to the one powering the current Avanza. The Sienta here is equipped with a CVT with seven virtual ratios.
Other highlights of the range-topping Sienta 1.5 V includes Bi-LED headlights with auto on/off, rear LED light guide, intermittent wipers with time adjustment, left and right power sliding doors, smart entry and stop system, auto air conditioning, digital video recorder and reverse camera. Standard kit for the 1.5 G and 1.5 V includes LED daytime running lights, rear fog lamp, rear blower, 50:50 split second row seats with one touch tumble, 50:50 split third row seats with dive in, VSC, TRC, ABS, EBD, HAC and three airbags.
The company will provide a five year unlimited mileage warranty for these new MPVs. Customers who wish to be among the first to own these MPVs can now place their booking at all UMW Toyota Motor branches and authorised Toyota dealers nationwide.
