Just last week, we showed you guys teaser photos of the updated 2017 Honda City.

A set of leaked photos that seemingly showcases the updated Honda City’s front and rear end has emerged, thanks to our friends over at Funtasticko.

Much like the Thai model, our facelifted Honda City receives LED headlights with what appears to be LED daytime running lights. The front grille now closely resembles the Civic with the Honda emblem surrounded by a pair of large chrome strips. Bumper design has also been revised here. The City also appears to wear a new set of alloy wheels.

Towards the rear end, much has changed. Out goes the bulb illuminated tail lights of the predecessor, now replaced by LED illuminated units. Turn indicators are now clear, as opposed to orange units on the old model. Towards the bottom, Honda has given the City a sportier bumper with a faux diffuser design. A bootlid mounted rear spoiler integrates the third brake light.

Powertrain options are expected to remain identical, featuring a 1.5-litre four-cylinder SOHC petrol engine mated to an Earth Dreams CVT that sends drive to the front wheels.

The facelifted Honda City is said to make a Thai debut in early 2017, followed by the Malaysian debut.
