Yamaha has just unveiled its latest super naked bike, called the MT-10 at the 2015 Milan Motor Show. The new bike is based on Yamaha’s existing YZF-R1 bike.

The new Yamaha MT-10 completes their MT brand, with bikes available from 125 cc all the way up to 1,000 cc.

Powering the new Yamaha MT-10 is the R1’s four-cylinder, cross-plane 999 cc engine which pushes out 165 bhp and 101 Nm of torque. Other R1 goodies include the three-level traction control system, three riding modes via Yamaha’s “D-Mode” throttle mapping, as well cruise control through gears 4 to 6.

For the MT-10, it has a short wheelbase, only 1,400 mm for light handling. Sports also a deltabox frame and the same suspension the R1 uses. The MT-10 comes with ABS and dual brake discs with 4-piston calliper and a bigger fuel tank – 17L .

Upon first glance, it somehow reminded me of Darth Vader.

Knowing that the bike may not arrive Malaysia officially, I just hope to be able to sit on it or ride on it for once.
