Tesla is listed as one of the most dangerous US workplaces

The National Council for Occupational Safety and Health (National COSH) has published a report which puts Tesla on its DirtyDozen list which provides a review of the most dangerous US workplaces. The National Council for Occupational Safety and Health (National COSH) is dedicated to promoting safe and healthy conditions for all working people through education, training, organizing and advocacy in the US.

To get on the list you would need to have higher-than-average injury rates, unnecessary risks and an unwillingness to address workers’ concerns. The report stated that workers injuries at Tesla factories were 31% higher compared to their peers in 2016 and 81% higher in the category of serious injuries. It says that Tesla Motors is a company of the future but with working conditions of the past.

Tesla has refuted the claim through a blog post dated April on their website stating that these claims seem to lead to a calculated disinformation campaign against Tesla which costs Tesla a lot of money. The post starts off first that Tesla accepts constructive criticism and that anyone who looks at journalism should do so with integrity.

Tesla aims that their factories should be the safest factories on Earth. And perhaps Mars in the future.
