Land Rover Announces Regional Competition For 6-day Peruvian Adventure!

Land Rover has announced a regional competition offering participants an opportunity to win a Land Rover Experience Tour to South America! Trust us, this is one competition you’d be thrilled to win… Lucky participants will drive the All-new Discovery on an extreme six-day off-road expedition through the Peruvian mountains, jungles and desert. Qualification events across the Asia-Pacific region will be held and the top local qualifier from each country will win a spot during our regional finals.
The local qualification events have taken place on selected weekends from July and will end in September. The competition is free and no prior off-road driving experience is required. Anyone who wishes to participate can enter the competition by visiting the Land Rover website or calling their local Land Rover dealerships for upcoming event schedules. During the local qualification events, entrants will participate in a series of driving and non-driving challenges designed by Land Rover instructors. The participant with the highest score from each country will win a trip for two to our regional finals in September.
The regional finals will be held over two rotations in Laos at the end of September, while the local qualification event in Malaysia will take place on Sept 8 to 10 at Desa Parkcity Kuala Lumpur. Competing in teams of two, the finalists will embark on a three-day driving adventure that takes them across various landscapes and terrain. A series of driving challenges and tasks awaits the participants as they pit their skills against the best from the region. During the regional finals, emphasis will be placed on vehicle handling on the tight and technical courses. Points will be awarded according to speed and accuracy across a range of activities and the top two pairs of finalists from each rotation will win a spot on the Land Rover Experience Tour Peru 2017.
