Visually, the updated Toyota Vios now looks closer to the China model Vios, with a whole new front and rear end. Up front, the Vios now resembles the newly-launched USDM Toyota Camry, featuring a revised large front grille with prominent horizontal slats. The upper grille is also new, with a pair of nicely integrated LED daytime running lights at each corner of the front bumper.

Towards the rear, the large chrome garnish on the pre-facelifted model has been revised with a slimmer unit, that continues to protrude into the tail lights. Speaking of tail lights, the general shape of the tail lights remain the same, but are now LED-illuminated with a new design. A pair of rear fog lights are found at each corner of the restyled rear bumper.
