Moving further back, you can see bulging wheel aches, plastic body cladding, and a rakish windscreen. The crossover also has a gently sloping roof, an angular beltline, and small rear windows. Other highlights include hidden rear door handles, a ‘floating’ rear spoiler, and boomerang-shaped taillights.

Toyota has been tight-lipped about specifications but the crossover will be based on Toyota’s new global architecture (TNGA) platform that’s available on the new Prius. A variety of different engines will be available including a hybrid powertrain that could be shared from the aforementioned model.

The Toyota C-HR will be built in Turkey and the model will be sold in a number of different countries worldwide. We’ll share with you more details when it officially unveiled this week so stay tuned!
