Similar to our previous scoop, only the rear end of the Civic is visible. Camouflage is still heavily used to mask much of the Civic’s outlook, but the rear lights are a dead giveaway. Unlike the USDM Civic however, the Thailand specific model appears to sport a rear spoiler.

Said to arrive to Thai showrooms within the next few months, the new Honda Civic is likely to carry over its predecessor’s old 1.8-litre i-VTEC mill for the entry level variant, while the range-topper will likely receive the new 1.5-litre turbocharged engine mated to a CVT.

Could we be seeing the new Civic by year’s end? Very likely, as Honda’s latest reorganization is aimed to decrease lead time of a new model’s global debut and local debut.

Stay tuned for more updates!
