Bentley has unveiled a limited-edition model for its Continental GT V8 S called the Black Edition. It is offered in both coupe and convertible bodystyles.
As you would have guessed, the new Black Edition introduces a striking gloss black finish to the exterior perfectly complementing a contrast body kit in a choice of 4 accent colours.
The high-gloss black finish is applied to the side window surrounds, lower bumper and lower body side rubbing strips, door handles, headlamp bezels and radiator matrix surround, as well as to the elegant 21-inch seven-spoke alloy wheels. Dark tint lights and rear lamps complete the sporting aesthetic.
The contrast body kit can be seen on the front splitter, side skirts and rear diffuser finished in one of four accent colours called Beluga, St James’ Red, Hallmark or Cyber Yellow. Customers also have the choice of red or black brake calipers.
The vibrant look is translated seamlessly inside the cabin, with GT Design Seats by Mulliner and the headliner bow featuring elements that match the accent colour selected for the exterior contrast body kit.
Under the hood, power is supplied by a twin-turbo, 4.0-litre V8 engine that develops 520 bhp and 680 Nm of torque, and is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. This allows the Continental GT V8 S to perform a century sprint in 4.3 seconds and on to a top speed of 308 km/h.
