Nasim previews updated 208, 2008, both powered by the new PureTech engine

Nasim has previewed two models that they will launch soon, which includes the updated Peugeot 208 PureTech and 2008 PureTech.

Both models receive Peugeot’s new PureTech turbocharged engine with a 1,200 cc capacity that churns out 112 PS and 205 Nm mated to a equally new AT6 automatic transmission. According to Peugeot, the new Puretech engine sips just 4.2 L/100km, enabling drivers to save an average of RM600 per year on petrol.

For the Peugeot 208, it will receive these enhancements:

  • Auto Start / Stop
  • New signature headlight with LED DRLs
  • Updated front fascia
  • Redesigned alloy wheels
  • Revised tail light cluster

As for the new Peugeot 2008, the compact SUV will get:

  • Auto Start / Stop
  • Refreshed front end
  • Projector headlights
  • New alloy wheels
  • Redesigned tail light cluster

According to Nasim, both these models are expected to be launched here officially early 2017, with prices to be known at a later date.

Elsewhere, Nasim chief operating officer Dato’ Samson Anand George said that the company is committed to deliver excellent aftersales services to improve customer experience. “It is our promise to ensure that our customers will be able to experience the drive of their life through a wide range of offerings from Peugeot,” he added.
