UMW Toyota Motor has finally introduced the all-new Toyota Innova. The new model succeeds its predecessor which has been on our roads since 2005.
Available in three trim levels, the 2016 Toyota Innova continues to be powered by the company’s 2.0-litre 1TR-FE four-cylinder petrol engine. Unlike the old model however, the updated 1TR-FE now boasts Dual-VVT-i, bumping up power figures to 139 PS and 183 Nm, a 3 PS and 1 Nm increase. Out goes the dated four-speed automatic, as Toyota has introduced a new six-speed automatic. The entry-level Innova 2.0 E MT continues with a five-speed manual.
A total of three variants are available at launch, the base 2.0E MT, 2.0E AT and the 2.0G AT. These three variants share these standard kit:

UMW Toyota Motor is also offering the DVD-AVX and DVD-AVN infotainment system for buyers of the new Innova. Both the AVX and AVN infotainment system features a large 8-inch capacitive touchscreen display, smartphone connectivity via MirrorLink or Miracast, WiFi, Internet Browser, Voice Recognition, HDMI, Bluetooth, USB and Reverse camera with guide lines. The latter further adds on navigation. On top of the infotainment system, customers can also opt for the Toyota Premium Security & Solar Film or the Toyota Essential Solar Film.
Prices start from RM109,000 for the entry-level Innova 2.0E MT, before moving up to RM117,000 for the 2.0E AT. The range-topping Innova 2.0G will set buyers back for RM126,000. All prices are OTR with insurance. UMW Toyota Motor is providing the Innova with a 5-year warranty with unlimited mileage that can be transferred to the next owner when the vehicle is sold off.
