Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) will officially unveil the new Volkswagen Jetta in Malaysia next Monday (26th Sept) and in anticipation of its arrival, the company is now accepting pre-bookings for the sedan.
Available in three variants; Trendline, Comfortline and Highline, the new Jetta is powered by a new 1.4L TSI single-turbocharged direct injection engine that produces an output of 150PS and a torque of 250Nm between 1,500 to 3,500rpm. Power is sent to the front wheels via a 7-speed direct shift gearbox.
It is officially recognized as an Energy Efficient Vehicle (EEV) that offers superior energy and fuel efficiency, thanks to its start/stop and regenerative braking functions.
Safety is at the core of all Volkswagen vehicles, and key safety features found in the new Jetta include 6 airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Intelligent Crash Response System (ICRS), andhill-hold control.
The estimated price for the new Jetta ranges between RM110,000 to RM130,000 and it comes in a choice of four colours namely, Candy White, Platinum Grey, Reflex Silver and Deep Black.
Pre-bookings is officially open from today, or during a special Jetta Pre-Booking Weekend on the 24th and 25th September (with extended opening hours) at all authorized Volkswagen dealers nationwide.
