Proton unit receives a renewal of the ISO 9001:2008 quality certification from Bureau Veritas

Proton Parts Centre Sdn. Bhd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Proton has successfully obtained the critical certification of ISO 9001:2008 from Bureau Veritas in its continuous effort of ensuring quality supply of automotive replacement parts to 4 million Proton car owners.

Commenting on the milestone development, Proton’s Chief Executive Officer, Dato’ Abdul Harith Bin Abdullah said, “The international certification signifies our commitment and dedication towards serving our customers better as they can be assured of genuine parts of the highest quality, delivered to them on time.”

ISO 9001:2008 is a group of Quality Management Systems designed to assist organizations meet the needs of their customers and other stakeholders while meeting statutory and regulatory requirements related to the product being sold. The ISO 9001:2008 certification is the result of audit on processes with shorter lead time, high delivery reliability and assurance of consistent quality of services and products.

Proton Parts Centre is the sole distributor of genuine Proton spare parts for domestic as well as export markets. Customers and Proton car owners are able to source their car spare parts through the Proton retail network nationwide.
