Toyota maintains top spot in JD Power rankings

UMW Toyota Motor was ranked the highest in the J.D. Power 2015 Malaysia Sales Satisfaction Index (SSI) for the third year running. Toyota scored 791 points, much higher than the industry median of 752 points.

The study takes into account six main factors that contribute to the overall customer satisfaction with their new vehicle purchase. These factors, in order of importance, include: salesperson, dealer facility, delivery timing, deal, delivery process and sales initiation. Toyota performs exceptionally well in most of these criteria.

The 2015 Malaysia Sales Satisfaction Index (SSI) Study is based on responses from 2,371 new vehicle owners who purchased their vehicle between August 2014 and May 2015. The study was fielded between February and July 2015.
