Way back in June, we reported about the latest and upcoming Audi A4. Based on it’s new changes, as always, it is a direct competition against it’s biggest rival, the BMW 3-series. Well the BMW F30 was released way back in 2012 and Audi is only releasing the new A4 in 2016, which means that Audi has had 4 years to come out with something that blows away its competition.
In terms of offering, the Audi A4 is available in a 1.4L variant producing 147hp, a 2.0L petrol version producing both 187hp and 248hp, a 2.0L diesel version producing 147hp and 187hp and finally a 3.0L diesel version producing 214hp and 268hp. Compared to the BMW F30 which has a number of models which produces rather similar power outputs but has a little bit more in the ranges of the 3.0L inline 6 turbo models.
Again you have the choice with either a FWD or a quattro system with the Audi, but you are stuck with RWD with the BMW.
