Ratthapark, who addressed himself as Feem, said he had been working hard after the last race in Assen where he managed 24thplace at the Dutch Grand Prix, which was his second race for the team after receiving the last minute mid-season callup from JPMoto.

Immediately after Assen, I had been working very hard especially on building strength in the upper body. I had motocross training because you need special control in Sachsenring. The circuit is short and is totally different from Assen and Catalunya. We need a good race strategy and I am working a new plan with the team. It is important that we to find a good balance in the first free practice and start working hard from that point. It is hard and challenging but I am confident of at least finishing in the Top 20. But, I strongly believe that we can be in the Top 15 with the right formula. I think we can meet this target,” added Feem.

The German Grand Prix will run for 29 laps on the 3.7km track, covering a total distance of 106.5km. The track has a total of 10 left corners and 3 right corners, and the longest straight is only 700 meters.

JPMoto Racing team manager, Raja Zaini Mohamad Nor, is also confident of a better showing by Feem at the German Grand Prix. “We are making good progress with Feem. His inputs have been very valuable for us. He is always ready to share his experience and that had benefited the team members a lot. In fact, we are learning a lot from him. We are drawing from his experience,” he said.
