When it comes to parts replacement, sometimes the process may take a longer time than expected. Volkswagen Malaysia is taking proactive moves to reduce waiting time for replacement parts in Malaysia by establishing a Parts Hub in Shah Alam. This new Parts Hub will serve as an extension of Volkswagen’s Parts Centre in Singapore, which has been in operating since July 2014.
The new Parts Hub in Shah Alam will be receiving parts from the Singapore Hub and the Volkswagen plant in Kassel, Germany, which is the largest production facility.
“Volkswagen is ‘Always by your side’ and customer satisfaction is our highest priority. With the establishment of this seamless integration between dealerships and Parts Hub, we have significantly reduced the waiting period. Therefore the performance of your Volkswagen car is always optimal,” said Volkswagen Malaysia managing director Armin Keller.
To keep things running smooth, the Shah Alam Parts Hub will work together with its Singapore counterpart to process order submissions twice daily. Parts like market focus inventory, campaign and high demand parts will be dispatched twice a day to dealerships nationwide, from either Shah Alam or Singapore.
