Both models come standard with Porsche’s Sport Chrono package, which consists of the Doppelkupplungsgetriebe (PDK) gearbox and active Sport Plus button. This enables the Porsche Boxster GTS to hit 100 km/h from standstill in just 4.7 seconds, while the Cayman GTS completes the same sprint in 4.6 seconds. With the standard six speed manual the Porsche Boxster GTS can hit a top speed 281 km/h, while the Porsche Cayman GTS tops out at 285 km/h.

Part of the standard GTS equipment is the sport exhaust set up that has been specially tuned to deliver “emotional sound with reduced back pressure“. The driver can choose to activate the sport exhaust via a switch or via the Sport Plus button. The GTS duo also sits 10 mm lower thanks to the standard PASM adaptive damping control system. With the Sport Plus button pressed, the PASM “Sport” mode stiffens the dampers and sharpens handling. Both models ride on 20-inch wheels and comes with tyre pressure monitoring system.
