Congratulations to third batch of Mazda Apprentice Program candidates!

Established in 2010, the Mazda Apprentice Program saw the third batch of students graduating from their course last week. A total of 25 graduates were awarded with the Malaysia Skill Certificate (Level 3, K-Workers), Diploma in the Institute of Motor Industry Awards Limited (IMIAL-UK) and Mazda Master Level F. The graduates will then be employed by Bermaz Motor as technicians in Mazda’s After Sales Service Centres nationwide.

The Mazda Apprentice Program is appointed by the Department of Skill Development (DSD), under the Ministry of Human Resources, Malaysia,  Institute of Motor Industry Awards Limited (IMIAL) UK and Mazda Motor Corporation as one of the Accreditation Centre on Motor Vehicle Mechanic Training provider. Under the Mazda Apprentice Program, student will go through the Motor Vehicle Mechanics syllabus, which is endorsed by the DSD, IMIAL and Mazda Motor Corporation Japan.

Aimed at school leavers with SPM or SPV, candidates are entitled for full scholarship by Bermaz Motor and is guaranteed a job with Mazda for at least three years. The trainees will receive monthly allowances while undergoing the program. It is hoped that with MAP, the poor of qualified and technically skilled manpower can assist the growth of Mazda’s service network nationwide.
