Skoda Superb Combi unveiled, will debut end of the year

Wagon lovers rejoice, as Skoda has unveiled the latest wagon based on the Skoda Superb. The new wagon from Skoda is called the Skoda Superb Combi and now sits on Volkswagen AG’s modular MQB platform.

Compared to its predecessor, the new Skoda Superb Combi now boasts an extended wheelbase by 80 mm to 2,841 mm. The front and rear track has been increased as well,  with the front measuring in at 1,584 mm and 1,572 mm at the rear. The end result is a even more interior space. Speaking of interior space, the Skoda Superb Combi features 660 litres of bootspace with the rear seats up. Fold the rear seats down, the bootspace increases to an impressive 1,950 litres.

The new Skoda Superb Combi is also packed with more feature than before, as the wagon now comes with Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC). The infotainment system on the Skoda has SmartLink, which is compatible with  MirrorLink, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Slated for a global debut at the 66th Frankfurt International Motor Show in September 2015, the Skoda Superb Combi will hit markets in the same month.
