The all-new Mazda CX-3 is perhaps one of the most anticipated models from Mazda, and it seems that our friends in Thailand will be getting the Mazda CX-3 soon! These are the spyshots of the upcoming Mazda CX-3 taken in Thailand.

According to sources, the Rayong-assembled Mazda CX-3 could be powered by either a 1.5-litre SKYACTIV-D turbodiesel engine or a 2.0-litre SKYACTIV-D petrol engine. Both engines will be mated to a 6-speed automatic gearbox.

Shown here are the LED headlights, which hopefully would be making its way to our Malaysian spec Mazda CX-3. Apart from that, the spied car also sports a set of 18-inch twin five-spoke design, as well as twin rear mufflers. If looked closely, the Mazda CX-3 spied here also has front foglights, and we do believe are of the LED type.

With the Honda HR-V, Mazda’s closest rival, getting its power from a 1.8-litre SOHC engine, perhaps Bermaz would consider the 2.0-litre petrol engine for our local CX-3? Apart from that, the Thai source has also mentioned that the Mazda CX-3 will hit their roads in 6 months time, so we should be looking at a 2016 launch.

Stay tuned for more updates!
