Bugatti releases Veyron “La Finale” farewell video [+video]

Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse La Finale (2)

It’s still hard to believe that it has been 10 years since the first Bugatti Veyron was produced. And while Bugatti bid farewell to the supercar at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show with the Grand Sport Vitesse “La Finale“, it promised a successor was on the way.

Before we get to the next Bugatti, though, the company has released a video with the assembly process of their 450th and final Veyron. As mentioned in our previous post, the final car was actually styled after the very first Veyron as it adopts a similar two-tone finish both inside and out along with “La Finale” badging and a few other cosmetic tweaks.

Just like the Grand Sport Vitesse, the La Finale is powered by a W16 8.0-liter quad-turbo engine pushing out 1,200hp and 1,500 Nm of torque. It’s enough muscle to allow the supercar run the 0-100 km/h in 2.6 seconds before hitting a top speed of 410 km/h.

Don’t forget to watch the video below, it provides a rare insight into the Bugatti production in Molsheim, France, and you’ll be able witness the process of manufacturing the last of its kind, the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse “La Finale”.
