It is a known fact that Koenigsegg makes some of the fastest, most powerful, most technically-advanced hypercars in the world. And the Swedish carmaker’s latest offering; the breathtaking Regera, which was unveiled at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show has pushed the boundaries once again.
But these million-dollar machines aren’t easy to get even if you are super rich. Andreas Petre and Tariq Ali, sales directors at Koenigsegg told Carbuzz that, a client has to wait 18 months to take delivery of the vehicle.
Andreas Petre and Tariq Ali also added they were able to sell a few units of the Regera by simply calling some potential customers and telling them there’s a new model on the way, without even providing any technical details or pictures. Forget direct marketing or advertising, in this hypercar world, the cars sell themselves.
