Honda has just previewed their upcoming baby SUV, the all-new Honda HR-V at MidValley Megamall. Let’s take a closer look at the HR-V.
The front end of the new Honda HR-V: Being Honda’s baby SUV, it’s no surprise that the HR-V bears a certain resemblance to its bigger brother, the CR-V.
This particular variant of the Honda HR-V features LED headlights with LED daytime running lights, which puts its above the Jazz and City it’s based on. Apart from the HR-V, the Accord and Odyssey too, sports LED headlights with LED daytime running lights (high spec only).
The rear end of the HR-V: Like the Honda Jazz, the new HR-V also sports LED rear combi lights. Apart from that, the HR-V here also sports a rear top mounted spoiler and a shark-fin antenna.
Highlights of the Honda HR-V: 6 airbags, electric parking brake & auto brake hold, LED headlights with LED daytime running lights and the integrated 7-inch touchscreen LCD display are among the highlights of this new baby SUV.
Full feature list of the Honda HR-V. The highest variant will be sporting all the features, while lower end variants will make do with lesser kit.
This particular variant previewed is likely to be the highest specification variant, which has all the bells and whistles included. This particular variant here sports rear disc brakes as well.
The Honda HR-V is likely to see a late-January/early-February launch, and prices are slated to be in the range of RM90,000 till RM110,000. It will be powered by a 1.8-litre petrol engine mated to Honda’s Earth Dreams Technology CVT.
The new Honda HR-V is currently on display at East Court Mid Valley from today (6 January 2015 till 11 January 2015). It will then head to Sunway Carnival (9 – 11 Jan), Avenue K (12 – 14 Jan), Paradigm Mall (16 – 18 Jan), KSL Mall (16 – 18 Jan), Village Mall (23 – 25 Jan).
