James Bond’s Aston Martin DB10 to battle Jaguar C-X75 in its upcoming movie Spectre

The new James Bond movie, “Spectre” adds another cast member to complement the new Aston Martin DB10. The Jaguar C-X75, a hybrid supercar project by Jaguar which was cancelled, is set to appear in the new Bond film and will be driven by the movie’s villain.

Yes folks, it’s the battle between Aston Martin and Jaguar, just like the (awful) 2002 flick, Die Another Day. This also comes with no surprise as earlier this year, Jaguar showcased the “British Villains” as part of the “Good to be Bad” campaign to promote the Jaguar F-Type coupe.

Anyway back to the car. The hybrid powertrain is replaced by Jaguar’s 5.0-litre supercharged engine. The car is currently being modified to be suited for filming use, presumably with tighter security after the loss of 9 Land Rovers as previously reported.

In addition to Fast and Furious 7, 2015 is set to be a great year for petrolheads craving vehicular action. Let’s hope it’s not the repeat of that awful green rocket-shooting Jaguar XKR that was trying to blow-up the invisible “Vanquish” in Die Another Day.
