If you’ve watched the 23rd installation of the James Bond movie, Skyfall, you will notice that 007’s Aston Martin DB5 came to an unfortunate end where it was blown up during the last scene of the film.
We thought the sad news would have ended there but here comes the worst part. Apparently 007 will be driving something more mainstream and err… a little diminutive in his upcoming movie which has been dubbed Spectre.
Details are limited but 007, starring Daniel Craig, will reportedly drive a Fiat 500 in a high-speed chase through the streets of Rome. However, it’s expected to have a relatively short life as Skynews reports that the car will be destroyed somewhere near the Vatican city.
Let’s not forget that this is just one scene so 007 will probably be using plenty of British made vehicles, so we wouldn’t be too surprised if 007 eventually takes to the wheel of an Aston Martin again. He probably just steals the 500 from some hapless tourist for the chase scene, because picturing James Bond owning a 500 is unfathomable. The scene is due to be shot in February and March next year and will be directed by Sam Mendes.
