The Mitsubishi Red Peak Challenge road tour is now heading to East Malaysia, and to mark the launch of the Mitsubishi Red Peak Challenge in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, the company has introduced the Triton VGT Red Peak Limited Edition.
Available exclusively for East Malaysia customers, the Triton VGT Red Peak Limited Edition comes with specially-customized body stickers that accentuate the sporty design of the Mitsubishi Triton, including the racing number of Masuoka which is proudly displayed on its bonnet.
Its aesthetics is further elevated with matte black 17-inch alloy rims that accentuates high performance. On the inside, the standard leather seating gets an all-new design with bold red accents that perfectly match the exterior colours.
Powertrain remains the same, a 2.5-litre powertrain diesel engine which produces a maximum output of 176hp and 350Nm of torque. Power is channeled to the wheels via 5-speed automatic transmission with Sports Mode. For off-road capabilities, Mitsubishi’s Easy Select 4WD system allows the driver to ‘shift on the fly’ from 2WD to 4WD at speeds of up to 100km/h. Apart from that, the Triton offers the best in class turning radius of 5.9 metres.
Limited to just 10 units, the Triton VGT Red Peak Limited Edition is priced at RM114,550.00 in Sabah and RM114,640.60 in Sarawak (on-the-road without insurance). Currently MMM is offering a cash rebate of RM7,000 with 2-Year Free Maintenance and or cash rebate of RM9,000 for customers who place an order for its Triton models.
