Say hello to the Honda Grace, the hybrid version of Honda’s B-segment saloon car, the City, which will be introduced to the Japanese market. Honda has revealed the details on its Japanese website and the car will be “gracefully” introduced in Japanese market by December.

The Grace will share the similar powertrain from the Honda Jazz Hybrid; which consists of an ‘Earth Dreams’ 1.5-liter Atkinson cycle DOHC i-VTEC engine. Honda’s Intelligent Dual-Clutch drive (i-DCi) will be mated with the new Earth Dreams engine. On the exterior, apart of the twin-LED lights and rear LED tail lamps, there aren’t many differences compared to the standard City we have here in Malaysia. Inside, the instrumentation cluster will be different compared to the standard City.

The City Hybrid should be introduced in Malaysia sometime in 2015, and very likely it will be locally assembled in Honda’s plant in Pagoh, just like the second-generation Jazz Hybrid.
