The Caterham Seven was first created in England over 40 years ago and is now one of the most recognisable British sportscars. It is famed for its unique, classic styling, lightweight structure and legendary performance and handling.

Increased American interest in the legendary British sportscar has sparked the launch of the two new models called the Seven 480 and Seven 360 which have been developed especially for the US market and will go on sale immediately.

Both the new Seven 480 and Seven 360 models are powered by a 2-litre Ford Duratec engine, with the 480 variant benefiting from slightly more power. The Seven 480 is capable of delivering 237 bhp and 279 Nm that is enough for a 0- 100 km/h sprint in 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 225 km/h. Meanwhile, the Seven 360 produces 180bhp and 194Nm of torque which grants a 0-100 km/h run in 4.9 seconds and a top speed of 210km/h. While the figures might not seem like much, driving these sports cars won’t feel the same as driving your average vehicle because it has no roof or windows!

Like all other Caterham Sevens, these latest versions are shipped to the US partially which completes final assembly locally at Caterham’s official US distributor, SuperformancePricing for the Seven 360 starts at $44,900, while the Seven 480 will set you back $52,900.
