UK woman fails driving test 110 times!

In Malaysia, it’s too easy to get a driving licence it’s almost like a child’s play. It’s just a matter of formality such as learning how to park your car, how to accelerate on a slope and how to drive your vehicle on the road without causing pedestrians, other drivers any danger. If you managed to do all that, you’ll be guaranteed to pass the test and earn a ‘P’ licence. However, that is not the case in United Kingdom, it seems…

According to the UK Department of Transport, the average pass rate for both the theory and practical tests in the first three months of 2014 was barely half. While that’s a discouraging figure if you compare it to Malaysia, it hasn’t put off a 28-year-old woman from the UK, who has sat through the practical portion of the test 110 times! This has cost her £3,140 so far and she still hasn’t pass the test yet.

She is now the record holder for most attempts at the written portion, with the next closest challenger at 86 attempts (he also hasn’t passed) Meanwhile, a 41-year-old man from Birmingham, eventually passed on his 80th attempt. Although that will never happen in Malaysia, we think that after spending such a substantial amount of money on driving theory test, shouldn’t the UK MoT just waive the fees and let her try and sit the test again?
