The Audi Group is more popular than ever as an international employer. The Audi subsidiary Automobili Lamborghini has taken first place in the latest publication of the prestigious “Employer of Choice” rankings, ahead of Vodafone and Ferrari. Audi had already come out ahead in Germany and Hungary as the favorite employer for future university graduates: Audi Hungaria was selected for the sixth consecutive time as the country’s most attractive company. AUDI AG also achieved top places in the rankings by German graduates from trendence and UNIVERSUM.

Superb opportunities for career development, an excellent work environment and the fascination of the brand: these are the reasons Italian university graduates selected the Audi subsidiary as the “Employer of Choice.” In the study carried out by the Fondazione Emblema foundation, the maker of luxury sports cars is the top address for young Italian university graduates, ahead of Vodafone and Ferrari.

“My warmest congratulations to Automobili Lamborghini for this outstanding achievement in the Italian employer rankings,” said Thomas Sigi, Member of the Board of Management of AUDI AG for Human Resources.“ The award is a testament to the high attractiveness of the brand and its excellent products.” At Lamborghini, as at all subsidiaries of the Audi Group, the goal of being an “attractive employer worldwide” is firmly embedded in the corporate strategy.“ The many international awards of this year show that we are well on our way to achieving this strategic goal as well,” Thomas Sigi continued.

Umberto Tossini, Head of Human Resources and Organization at Automobili Lamborghini: “Working at Lamborghini means contributing to the development of a product that is recognized all over the world. For us, what counts here is professionalism and commitment of the highest order.”

In addition to the election for the “Employer of Choice,” Lamborghini was also recently honored as the “Top Employer Italia 2014” by the Top Employers Institute.

University graduates and employees in Germany and Hungary also confirm the popularity of the Audi Group as an employer: In spring 2014, for instance, AUDI HUNGARIA MOTOR Kft., was named the “Most attractive employer” in Hungary for the sixth consecutive time. In Germany, AUDI AG posted a double victory in the latest FOCUS survey of 19,000 employees. The company took first place in both the overall ranking and in that of the major companies in the German automotive industry. Audi also achieved top spots in the current rankings by university graduates conducted by the renowned consulting institutes trendence and UNIVERSUM. According to these rankings, the carmaker remains the favorite employer for the most university students in Germany, especially among prospective engineers.
