Perodua Viva named “Value-For-Money Car of the Year” by Frost & Sullivan

Second national carmaker, Perodua has recently received the “Value-For-Money Car of the Year (1.3L and below)” award at the Frost & Sullivan’s Malaysia Award Ceremony. This is the seventh year Perodua Viva received the prestigious award from the company.

“My team and I are delighted yet humbled by the recognition given to the Perodua Viva for the 7th year in a row this year,” Datuk Aminar Rashid Salleh said when accepting the award.

“In many ways, this award reflects our core objective of producing high quality yet affordable vehicles to Malaysians and we will continue to do so with our newer models,” Aminar said.

“Having won the “Value-for-Money Car of the Year award” since 2008, the Viva represents our commitment to offer Malaysians the most affordable overall cost of ownership,” he added.

The Perodua Viva is the most affordable entry level vehicle in the market with a basic price tag  starting from RM24,936. The Perodua Viva is one of the best-selling model in the country and have sold more than 419,000 units since it was first launched in 2007.
