Trion Supercars ‘Nemesis’ is a 2000bhp monster!

It looks like the horsepower game has reached a level we shall dub ‘ludicrous’. An American company has come out with a brand new hypercar that is set to cause other hypercars to run for cover. Not by benchmarking current established hypercars like McLaren P1, Porsche 918 and Ferrari LaFerrari but to challenge even crazier ones like Koenigsegg One:1 and Hennessey Venom GT. Introducing the Trion’s 2000 horsepower (not a typo) Nemesis. Apt name.

The California-based Trion Supercars are described as making an “advanced ultra-luxury, high-performance line of vehicles designed around the driver”. It is also set to become the “nemesis” of other European supercar makers as claimed by company leader Richard Patterson. Judging by the digitalised images, the Nemesis will sport an aerodynamic shape with lightweight carbon fibre chassis which was described as being “flawless from the front growl to the captivating tail configuration”.

In terms of performance, the Nemesis will be propelled by a twin-turbo V8 coupled with an eight-speed sequential gearbox. While it is not yet been officially proven, the company claims this 2000bhp beast can hit 0-100 km/h in 2.8 seconds with the top speed of the mind boggling 432 km/h!

The awesomeness doesn’t end there as the Nemesis will have the ‘Predator Mode’, which modifies its height, suspension settings, exhaust noise and rev limit as well as its interior lighting. Drivers can brag on their Nemesis after defeating any other cars during a traffic light drag race via Social Media as the car will have Internet connection enabled.

As ambitious as it sounds, the car is still in early development stages with the first prototype to be built next month. If all goes well, this Venom GT beating machine will cost you a cool USD 1 million. One thing’s for sure, the Nemesis which is boosted by American ego has pretty much stirred the hornet’s nest of hypercar marques.
