Naza Kia opens new Kia Red Cube in Kuantan

Naza Kia Malaysia Sdn Bhd, the official distributor of Kia Motors vehicles in Malaysia, has opened its latest Red Cube outlet in Kuantan.

The Kia Red Cube Kuantan 3S centre sits on a 49,213 square foot area and has 14 service bays that are able to service up to 35 cars per day. The outlet is located at Lot 73-75, Jalan Industri Semambu 5, Kawasan Perindustrian Semambu, 25300 Kuantan, Pahang.

“As the company’s third flagship outlet and the first for the east coast region, Kia Red Cube Kuantan will cater to the needs of customers in both the residential and industrial areas of Kuantan in addition to the rest of the Peninsula East Coast,” said Datuk Syed Abdull Hafiz Syed Abu Bakar, Chief Operating Officer of Naza Kia Malaysia.

The outlet will serve East Coast Kia owners as well as the surrounding cities in Jerantut, Maran, Pekan, Temerloh and up to Kemaman.

The company invested RM5 million into this 3S outlet to include sales, service and spare parts with meeting rooms, training rooms, a kids area, a café, free WIFI and internet stations for customers. The investment for Kia Red Cube Kuantan incorporates Kia’s new Global Space Identity, which is present in all upgraded Kia outlets.

“In late December 2011, we launched our first flagship Kia Red Cube in Petaling Jaya. Kia Red Cube Johor Bahru in 2013 followed and further elevated Kia’s New Global Space Identity. Kia Red Cube Kuantan continues in this new direction that places strong emphasis on design,” said Datuk Hafiz.

Going forward, he said Naza Kia Malaysia plans to launch a fourth Red Cube in Rawang, which is currently under construction. The addition of Kia Red Cube Kuantan and eventually Rawang are part of Naza Kia Malaysia’s ever-growing nationwide network expansion. Kia Red Cube Rawang will be a 4S centre and is estimated to open in May 2014.

“For 2014, we are targeting to increase our sales volume to 15,670 units aided by this year’s recent launches. Our sales targets are 150 units per month for the New Kia Optima K5 and 150 units per month for the New Sportage. Our network expansion program will contribute to meet the demands of Kia owners nationwide,” he added.
