At the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, MINI will present the MINI Clubman Concept, showcasing a new brand philosophy for a higher class of automobile. 26 centimeters longer and just under 17 centimeters wider than the current MINI Clubman, the Concept comes over as sophisticated, cool and elegant. The iconic design is supplemented by high-quality details, plenty of space for functional features and selected materials. Refinement of the hallmark MINI styling ensures instant recognition, both on the exterior and the interior. The extensive colour and material concept redefines contemporary elegance and high-end quality in this segment.
And yes, it has 6 doors.
It has 5 seats (according to the press release) but from the concept drawings it looks like only 4, and is as MINI as it can get, except that it isn’t such a mini car because it is the Clubman. If you haven’t seen one in real life, go check it out and tell me that it is a MINI.
Still branded as a concept, the car is splashed with everything as MINI as you can imagine. That can either be interpreted as two things, one, they are sticking to their iconic style or two, those lazy designers can’t think of anything new and refreshing. But I am sure MINI fans will appreciate it as it looks as classic as a MINI should be.
