Nissan Autonomous Drive [+video]

At the Nissan 360 in August 2013, Nissan announced plans to have commercially-viable Autonomous Drive vehicles on global roads by 2020. The technology has since gone on to win the Grand Prix at this year’s CEATEC Innovation Awards in Japan and it has also begun testing publicly.

Upon receiving a license plate to begin testing on public roads in Japan, it has been test driven byJapan’s Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and other top officials. The technology has even been tested on apublic highway.
