I scoured through the internet to come up with a list of what I thought would be my top 10 most interesting car related videos as well as car advertisements. I can tell you, it wasn’t easy compiling this list but hey, do check out the videos below!
10. Mercedes – Sorry
Interesting advert although it did raise a number of heated discussion topics on who was the grim reaper depicting at the time. No, I don’t think it was a competitor’s boss.
I find this video really funny the first time I watched it. Definitely a classic but also a goody.
Now just because you don’t drive a hipster car with hydraulic suspensions and spinners doesn’t mean you can’t blow your competition away. And I mean that literally.
7. VW – Bollocks
For those of you who aren’t too familiar with the term “Bollocks”, I guess its good to check out what it means first on Wikipedia 🙂
6. Toyota – Reinvented Camry
That reinvented couch looks mighty comfy. What a way to get their point across.
5. Nissan – What if everything ran on gas?
This advert isn’t so much funny but rather portrays an ironic world. It does touch a nerve but it also does bring up a good point.
4. BMW – Star
Directed by Guy Ritchie, this was one of the series of short films BMW made. Starring Madonna and Clive Owen, this was my favourite one among the series.
3. Top Gear’s VW Scirocco TDI
I know this isn’t an actual advert but it was one of my favourite episodes. It is really funny and definitely has some hints of sarcasm.
2. Honda – The Cog
Frankly, as an engineer, I found this video absolutely amazing. It was said that it used every piece of the car to create the whole domino effect. What else can I say, I was totally blown off my mind the first time I watched it.
1. The Force
This has been my favourite commercial for a while now. It is hard to top and I am sure most of you out there would agree that it is absolutely funny and also cute at the same time.
There you have it, my 10 favourite car related videos. How about yours? If you have an interesting video, do let us know in the comments section!
