Hot on the heels of the recent upgraded Pajero launch (see separate story) Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) together with authorized dealer Ingress Motors Centre (IMC) Sdn. Bhd. have opened the first 4S Mitsubishi centre in the country. The fourth ‘S’ in “4S centre” means that in addition to Sales, Service & Spare parts, this outlet also does ‘Spray’, a colloquial term for body-repair / crash-repair.
Located at 12, Jalan BP 4/4, Bandar Bukit Puchong, this 4S centre was built at a total invesement of RM4million. Boasting 12,075sq.ft of space, this centre has a fully-equipped workshop and parts storage area, a Mitsubishi ‘Ralliart’ boutique, premier customer lounge with wifi, and a free car wash area, well, for Mitsubishi customers only of course. There are 12 service bays that can service up to 27 cars per day.
This is also the first centre with EV, or electric vehicle, facilities, which means that it’s the first centre that’s able to take care of the fully-electric Mitsubishi iMiev. The launch of this centre is very timely as the all-new Mitsubishi Attrage will be launched very soon. To date there are 58 Mitsubishi showrooms throughout Malaysia (40 of which are 3S centres), and 47 service outlets, with plans for 3 more showrooms by the end of 2013.
