PSA: Highway Toll Rebate for Deepavali Celebration

HAPPY DEEPAVALI from all of us here at Autofreaks.com! In conjunction with the Deepavali celebration, the Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) is offering discounts of between 5% and 37.5% on toll rates and toll rebates of 20%  on 20 highways across Malaysia.

The highways involved offering toll rebates are:

  • North-South Expressway (PLUS) except for the Bukit Kayu Hitam, Bangunan Sultan Iskandar and the Penang Bridge Toll Plaza
  • Seremban-Port Dickson Highway (SPDH)
  • Kulim-Butterworth Expressway (KLBK)
  • Malaysia-Singapore Second Link except for the Tanjung Kupang Toll Plaza

Meanwhile, the highways involved offering discounts are:

  • Guthrie Corridor Expressway, Kemuning-Shah Alam Highway (LKSA)
  • Ampang-Kuala Lumpur Elevated Highway (Akleh)
  • Smart Motorway Tunnel
  • Shah Alam Expressway (KESAS)
  • KL-Karak Highway (KLK)
  • East Coast Highway Phase 1 (ECE 1)
  • Duta-Ulu Kelang Expressway (Duke)
  • New Pantai Expressway (NPE)
  • New North Klang Straits Bypass (NNKSB)
  • KL-Putrajaya Highway (MEX)
  • Sungai Besi Highway (Besraya)
  • Kajang Seremban Highway (LEKAS)
  • South Klang Valley Expressway (SKVE)
  • Damansara Puchong Highway (LDP)
  • SPRINT Highway
  • Sultan Abdul Halim Muadzam Shah Bridge (JSAHMS)

On the other hand, motorists who are planning to take a road trip to their hometown can expect traffic on the North-South Expressway (NSE) to increase due to the Deepavali and Awal Muharram holiday. As such, those planning to use the NSE during the upcoming holiday and weekend are advised to follow the PLUS Travel Time Advisory (TTA) schedule below for a smoother journey.
