Edaran Tan Chong Motor (ETCM) has just announced that the new Serena S-Hybrid Facelift is now open for booking prior to its official unveiling. The new Serena Hybrid comes in two grades, Premium Highway Star and Highway Star and the estimated price for both variants is RM 150,000 and RM140,000 respectively.
This locally assembled MPV now sports a bold 3D front grille and a newly designed 16-inch alloy wheels. There’s also first-in-class LED Headlamps and Signature Lamps that provide a better road view, and at the rear, there’s an attractive S-shaped LED combination lamps to provide quick illumination; giving following vehicles ample time to react.
Its powertrain remains the same, with 2-litre, 4-cylinder engine producing an total output of 145hp and 210Nm of torque, paired with an Xtronic CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission). The highly efficient engine provides best-in-class fuel economy of 15.2 KM/L (JC08 mode) when driven in ECO Mode.
