Mitsubishi Pajero facelift introduced!

Mitsubishi Pajero

Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) has finally upgraded its Pajero SUV with a more luxurious look not just in terms of exterior and interior updates, but also insofar as driving pleasure and safety features are concerned.

The facelift Mitsubishi Pajero now comes with new front bumper design incorporating a more muscular grille design, Day Time Running Lights (DRL), fog lamps with chrome surround. At the back, the spare tyre cover has been redesigned along with the rear license plate garnish.

Ample head-room and leg-room for up to seven occupants

Access to the cabin is enhanced with a new key fob design, and the driver and front passenger are also greeted by premium metallic trim and stylish wood print finish on the dashboard. To keep passengers entertained during long journeys, an area entertainment system comprising a 9-inch display with two wireless headphones is now fitted as standard, along with leather seating, powered driver’s seat, automatic climate control, rear air-conditioning with independent control, along with roof vents for second and third row occupants.

Powered by a 3.8-litre V6 engine that produces 250PS and 329Nm of torque, the 6-cylinder engine is equipped with Mitsubishi’s Innovative Valve timing Electronic Control (MIVEC) technology for optimum performance and efficiency. It is paired with an INVECS-II 5-speed automatic transmission with Sport Mode combining the smooth-shifting convenience of an automatic with the control of a manual gearbox when needed.

Premium Metalic Trim and Stylish Wood Finish

Harnessing the power from the MIVEC V6 engine is Mitsubishi’s Super Select 4WD system which ensures superior traction with four driver-selectable modes catering to various road conditions and off-road terrain that the Pajero may be subjected to. This is complemented by Mitsubishi Active Stability and Traction Control (M-ASTC) function that automatically adjusts brake and engine output to stabilize the vehicle when conditions warrant. Safety is paramount in every Mitsubishi vehicle and the Pajero now comes with front, side and curtain airbags.

Fully imported from Japan, the upgraded Mitsubishi Pajero is priced at RM291,177 on-the-road without insurance. Get more information about the facelift Mitsubishi Pajero here.
