The new Isuzu D-MAX recently managed to retain the coveted NST-Maybank Car Of The Year title in the Pick-up Truck category for the 2nd consecutive year and this time, the award goes to the new Isuzu D-MAX V-Cross 3.0 model.

“The level of investment that Isuzu placed into research and engineering of the new D-MAX was the highest ever in the history of the company and the results are clear to see. The Isuzu D-MAX remains the judges’ unanimous choice of pick-up truck despite newer models available today,” said COO of Isuzu Malaysia Daisuke Ishida.

While its core strengths of durability, reliability and fuel efficiencyoffer highly practical long-term benefits and cost savings to owners, the Isuzu D-MAX loses nothing in terms of driving appeal with a strong balance of comfort, performance and handling listed among the D-MAX’s more appealing traits.

The new Isuzu D-MAX V-Cross 3.0 in particular offers excellent driving characteristics thanks to its Variable Geometry Turbo System (VGS) that provides for a very wide torque band, giving drivers instantaneous throttle response regardless of load or road condition.

Adding to its appeal is its level of safety that is among the highest in its class. The Isuzu D-MAX was the first Japanese pick-up truck to achieve compliance with the stringent UNECE safety regulations, making it an excellent vehicle for work or play.

The new Isuzu D-MAX V-Cross 3.0 is priced from RM101,343 (3.0 Manual); RM107,459 (3.0 Auto) and RM118,485 (3.0 Auto ‘Safari’) on the road with insurance. Click here if you want to read our test drive review of this award-winning 4X4.
