The Porsche Carrera Cup Asia series is a single-make GT racing series that takes drivers competing in circuits in Asia. The Class B is targeted for new drivers and amateurs, and Alif began his journey as a serious racing driver in Porsche Carrera Cup Asia in 2013. He made his name a few years back when he was the 1st runner-up in 2012 World Time Attack Open Class. He is currently mentored by fellow Porsche Carrera Asia cup driver, Earl Bamber, who also clinched the overall champion in this year’s Porsche Carrera Asia as well.

He is also participated in the highest order of Porsche sportscar racing, the Porsche Mobil1 Supercup. He is set to continue his journey in the Pro class in next year’s Porsche Carrera Cup Asia Series.

Our congratulations to this young chap and he is certainly a rising star to keep an eye on!
