A man in United States has been reunited with his beloved Jaguar E-Type, 46 YEARS after it was stolen. Ivan Schneider was a proud owner of the gray Jaguar E-type for six months when it was stolen from outside of his Manhattan apartment.

A month ago, authorities called the 82-year old Schneider; they’d found his car. The cargo was bound for shipment to Europe when US Customs raided the shipment and discovered a few missing classics, including that E-Type.

“Who would figure a car would show up 46 years later,” Schneider said.

Despite that, the car, which was originally purchased at $5,000, is sadly in bad shape now with rough paint and a replacement door needed. Schneider however plans to ship the Jaguar to New York for restoration, with cost expected as much as $100,000. The car is expected to be restored to its former glory by end of the year.

“My Christmas gift” said Schneider. We totally agree!
