Hyundai needs your help to raise funds for charity

SDAH Employees Offer Relief for Inmates at Bukit Harapan Therapy Community

Sime Darby Auto Hyundai (SDAH) is inviting the public and its customers to participate in its ‘Experience Hyundai. We Care, We Donate’ community campaign to raise funds for the Bukit Harapan Therapy Community based in Menggatal, Sabah.

The ‘Experience Hyundai. We Care, We Donate’ campaign will commence on 22th August until the 22th October 2014 at Sime Darby Auto Hyundai’s 3S centre in Kota Kinabalu. During this campaign, SDAH will be donating a pre-determined amount of money for every model and vehicle that is test-driven, purchased and serviced. For instance, RM3 will be donated for every Hyundai model that is test-driven, RM100 will be donated for every model purchased and RM5 will be donated for every vehicle serviced with cash payment. The company aims to raise at least RM5,000 through this campaign. If you are living in the vicinity of Sabah, do drop by at the mentioned showroom to help support this good cause.

“The home currently houses 42 children and adults as well as 14 helpers. With the escalating costs of living, the home requires RM33,000 a month for maintenance and we hope through this fund,we will be able to provide some relief for the home,” said Mr Lau Yit Mun, Director of SDAH and also the Managing Director of Hyundai-Sime Darby Motors.

23 employees from SDAH in Kota Kinabalu will also be volunteering their services at the home during the campaign period by helping the caregivers and cleaning the home. Apart from that, they will also entertain the residents of the home with a song and dance performance.

Sime Darby Auto Hyundai’s 3S centre is situated at Lot 7, Jalan Limau Manis, Off Jalan Lintas, Kolombong, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. The sales showroom and service centre is open from Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5.30pm. On Saturdays the service centre is open from 8.30am to 12.45pm but is closed on Sunday and public holidays. The showroom is open on Saturdays from 8:30am to 5:30pm and Sundays from 8.30am to 4:30pm.
